Baripada, October 9, 2026: Strengthening Mayurbhanj’s presence in India’s technology ecosystem, Er. Saumyaranjan Mishra, Secretary of the Mayurbhanj Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MAYCCI) and Founder of Baripada-based Infocreatives Services Private Limited, attended NASSCOM Technology Confluence 2026 at Hotel Taj Taal Kutir, Kolkata, on October 8, accompanied by Jipun and Sipun, IT interns at Infocreatives. During the event, he engaged with NASSCOM officials to explore the possibility of bringing a similar industry-focused programme to Mayurbhanj, aimed at connecting industry leaders, startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and academia.
An active NASSCOM member for the past two years, Er. Mishra has been advocating for greater recognition and growth opportunities for Mayurbhanj’s IT industry through national-level industry interactions and networking platforms.
Held under the theme “Redefining Value in an Intelligent World,” the conference brought together industry leaders to discuss how artificial intelligence, digitalisation, and innovation are transforming businesses and industries. Key areas of focus included enterprise-scale AI adoption, intellectual property creation, operational transformation, and innovation-led value creation across sectors such as banking and financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, automotive, energy, and telecommunications.
Er. Mishra’s interaction with NASSCOM officials centred on the potential to organise a similar event in Mayurbhanj, creating a common platform for industry leaders, IT companies, startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and academic institutions. The proposed initiative seeks to strengthen industry–academia collaboration, encourage entrepreneurship, facilitate knowledge exchange, and connect local talent with emerging technological and business opportunities.
Through his association with NASSCOM, leadership at Infocreatives, and role at MAYCCI, Er. Mishra continues to work towards positioning Mayurbhanj as an emerging destination for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Odisha.
